Using this site

YamlJson is a free utility for converting between YAML and JSON. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

No account is required and no registration exists. You may use the tool for personal or commercial work, including on files belonging to your employer or clients, at no cost.

Your content stays yours

We claim no rights whatsoever over anything you paste, type or open here. Because the conversion runs entirely in your browser, we never receive it in the first place — see the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process the files you convert, particularly where they contain credentials or data belonging to someone else.

No warranty

This site is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We work hard on correctness — the conversion engine is covered by an extensive automated test suite — but no software is free of defects. Always review converted output before using it in production, especially for infrastructure configuration where a wrong value can cause an outage.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site, including data loss, service outages, or incorrect conversion output. Your sole remedy if you are dissatisfied is to stop using the site.

Availability

The site is provided without any guarantee of availability. It may be changed, interrupted or withdrawn at any time without notice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to it.
• Republish the site as your own service, or present it as though it were operated by someone else.
